Global Center for Digital Influence Research

The Global Center for Digital Influence Research (GCDIR) is an independent, interdisciplinary research organization studying how digital technologies shape attitudes, beliefs, and behavior. The Center’s work draws on methods from psychology, economics, political science, statistics, computer science, and communication research, and is conducted in collaboration with academic institutions and industry partners.

Mission

GCDIR conducts and disseminates research on the mechanisms and consequences of digital influence. The Center’s objective is to contribute peer-quality empirical evidence to scholarly literature, public policy debate, and professional practice. GCDIR maintains editorial independence from its partners and publishes its findings openly.

Areas of activity

GCDIR’s activities include original research, methodological development, and the publication of working papers and peer-reviewed articles. The Center also organizes seminars and workshops and supports collaborative projects between academic researchers and industry data providers.

Data and methods

Through its industry partnerships, GCDIR has access to large-scale behavioral and outcome data from commercial digital campaigns — including measured conversions and revenue outcomes linked to creator-level psychometric profiles. This combination of behavioral data and validated outcomes supports research designs that are typically difficult to execute using publicly available data alone. A description of the Center’s data resources and access procedures is provided on the About page.

Affiliation and governance

GCDIR is not affiliated with any single university or commercial entity. It maintains formal partnerships with academic institutions and industry organizations that provide data access and applied context. A full description of the Center’s governance, team, and partners is available on the About page.

Engagement

GCDIR was established in 2025 and is currently expanding its network of affiliated researchers and partner organizations. Researchers, practitioners, and institutions interested in collaboration are invited to make contact through the About page.
